What’s your name, I ask her.

It’s Rav, like the car.

It’s a pleasure to start attempting to paint her, with her strong eyebrows, amazing hair, heart-shaped face, green eyes and incredible bone-structure. Even better, Rav manages to expertly pose, while at the same time carrying on a remarkably entertaining conversation with us. She works in marketing, but finds it boring, lives alone with her cat, is working two jobs to pay off a mortgage, but is sometimes tempted to chuck it all in and become a tram-driver.

Why not? I agree. Driving trams would be fun, unless you had an accident.

I’m happy with my painting of her, and am looking forward to doing another one next week, perhaps in profile.
